\u25c6\u4e00\u822c\u7684\u306b\u306f\u3001\u304a\u76c6\u306f\u4ea1\u304f\u306a\u3063\u305f\u5148\u7956\u306e\u970a\u3092\u3053\u306e\u4e16\u306b\u8fce\u3048\u3001\u77ed\u3044\u9593\u5bb6\u65cf\u306e\u5143\u306b\u5e30\u3063\u3066\u6765\u3066\u3082\u3089\u3046\u4ecf\u6559\u7684\u306a\u884c\u4e8b\u3067\u3059\u3002
\nGenerally speaking, O-bon is a Buddhist rite to welcome the spirits of deceased ancestors back to this world for a brief reunion.<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u304a\u76c6\u306b\u306f\u304a\u5bfa\u3001\u795e\u793e\u3001\u5bb6\u5ead\u3001\u30b3\u30df\u30e5\u30cb\u30c6\u30a3\u30fc\u306a\u3069\u3067\u591a\u304f\u306e\u7fd2\u6163\u3068\u884c\u4e8b\u304c\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002
\nThere are many customs and events for O-bon held at temples, shrines, homes, communities, and so on.<\/p>\n

\nThe first O-bon after one\u2019s death is called Nii-bon, Shin-bon, or Hatsu-bon, and people hold a large-scale memorial service.<\/p>\n

\nIn advance of O-bon, people clean their Butsudan (a family Buddhist altar) and ihai (a memorial tablet kept on the Butsudan).<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u8304\u5b50\u306f\u725b\u3092\u8868\u3057\u3001\u5148\u7956\u304c\u3053\u308c\u306b\u4e57\u3063\u3066\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3060\u3051\u3086\u3063\u304f\u308a\u5bb6\u304b\u3089\u3042\u306e\u4e16\u306b\u884c\u304f\u305f\u3081\u306b\u4f5c\u3089\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002
\nAn eggplant represents a cow, and it is made so that one\u2019s ancestor goes back to the next world as slowly as possible.<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u4e00\u822c\u7684\u306b\u50e7\u4fb6\u3092\u5bb6\u3078\u62db\u3044\u3066\u3001\u4ecf\u58c7\u306e\u524d\u3067\u304a\u7d4c\u3092\u3042\u3052\u3066\u3082\u3089\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002
\nA Buddhist priest is usually called to the home to recite the sutras in front of the Butsudan (a family Buddhist altar).<\/p>\n

\nFireworks displays started in the Edo Period (1603-1868) for the consolation of the souls of those who passed away because of epidemics and famines.<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u304a\u76c6\u306e\u6700\u5f8c\u306e\u65e5\u306b\u884c\u308f\u308c\u308b\u3001\u9001\u308a\u706b\u306e\u4e00\u7a2e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u706f\u7bed\u6d41\u3057\u3082\u4f1d\u7d71\u884c\u4e8b\u3067\u3059\u3002
\nToro-nagashi (Literally Toro means lantern and nagashi means flow) which is another style of Okuri-bi is also a traditional ceremony held on the last day of O-bon.<\/p>\n
