\u25c6\u65bd\u884c\u3092\u8a18\u5ff5\u3057\u3066\u30011948\u5e74\uff08\u662d\u548c23\u5e74\uff09\u306b\u300c\u56fd\u6c11\u306e\u795d\u65e5\u306b\u95a2\u3059\u308b\u6cd5\u5f8b\u300d\u30675\u67083\u65e5\u306f\u795d\u65e5\u3068\u5b9a\u3081\u3089\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002
\nIn commemoration of the enforcement, May 3 was designated as a national holiday in 1948 (Showa 23rd yr), in accordance with \u201cthe law for national holidays.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u305d\u308c\u4ee5\u67655\u67083\u65e5\u306f\u61b2\u6cd5\u8a18\u5ff5\u65e5\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002
\nSince then, May 3 has been called Kempo-kinenbi, the Constitution Memorial Day.<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u61b2\u6cd5\u8a18\u5ff5\u65e5\u306e\u8da3\u65e8\u306f\u300c\u65e5\u672c\u56fd\u61b2\u6cd5\u306e\u65bd\u884c\u3092\u8a18\u5ff5\u3057\u3001\u56fd\u306e\u6210\u9577\u3092\u671f\u3059\u308b\u300d\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002
\nThe purpose of Kempo-kinebi is \u201cto commemorate the enforcement of the Constitution of Japan, and hope for the growth of the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u3053\u306e\u65b0\u3057\u3044\u61b2\u6cd5\u306e\u9aa8\u5b50\u306f\u65e5\u672c\u306e\u6c11\u4e3b\u4e3b\u7fa9\u3001\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u4eba\u6a29\u5c0a\u91cd\u3001\u4e09\u6a29\u5206\u7acb\u3067\u3059\u3002
\nThe main points of this new Constitution declare Japan a democracy, proclaim respect for fundamental human rights, and divide the government into three powers.<\/p>\n

\nThe Meiji Constitution was the Imperial Constitution and was drafted based on the model of the then existing German constitution.<\/p>\n

\nIn the Meiji Constitution, the Emperor was sacred and inviolable, and had supreme sovereignty.<\/p>\n

\nWhen Japan surrendered in World War ll, it had to revise the Constitution according to the Potsdam Declaration.<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u65e5\u672c\u653f\u5e9c\u5074\u306e\u6539\u6b63\u6848\u306f\u65e7\u61b2\u6cd5\u306e\u9aa8\u5b50\u3092\u6b8b\u3059\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3057\u305f\u3002
\nThe amendment made by the Japanese government kept the framework of the old Constitution.<\/p>\n

\nTherefore, the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, Douglas MacArthur, ordered his staff officers to draft the constitution, and issued it to the Japanese Government.<\/p>\n

\nArticle 9 of the Japanese Constitution is one of its most important characteristics: it declares the renunciation of war.<\/p>\n
