\/>\nIn Buddhism, JIZO-BOSATSU is believed to help people escape from suffering by showing mercy.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u83e9\u85a9\u3068\u306f\u3055\u3068\u308a\u3092\u6c42\u3081\u308b\u4fee\u884c\u8005\u3068\u3044\u3046\u610f\u5473\u306a\u306e\u3067\u53b3\u5bc6\u306b\u306f\u4ecf\u69d8\u3067\u306f\u3042\u308a\u307e\u305b\u3093\u304c\u3001\u4ecf\u69d8\u540c\u69d8\u306b\u4fe1\u4ef0\u306e\u5bfe\u8c61\u3068\u306a\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nPeople believe in BOSATSU as well as Buddha, though strictly speaking, it is not a Buddha but an ascetic for enlightenment.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5927\u8846\u306b\u5e83\u304f\u4fe1\u4ef0\u3055\u308c\u3001\u89aa\u3057\u307f\u3092\u8fbc\u3081\u3066\u304a\u5730\u8535\u69d8\u3068\u304b\u304a\u5730\u8535\u3055\u3093\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nIt is widely worshiped by the public, and is called OJIZO-SAMA or OJIZO-SAN in a friendly way.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u304a\u5730\u8535\u69d8\u306e\u8d77\u6e90\u306f\u8af8\u8aac\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u304c\u3001\u53e4\u4ee3\u30a4\u30f3\u30c9\u306e\u795e\u69d8\u304c\u4e2d\u56fd\u7d4c\u7531\u3067\u5948\u826f\u6642\u4ee3\uff08710\u5e74\uff0d784\u5e74\uff09\u306b\u65e5\u672c\u306b\u5165\u3063\u3066\u304d\u305f\u3068\u3055\u308c\u308b\u306e\u304c\u4e00\u822c\u7684\u3067\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nIt is generally said that OJIZO-SAMA was introduced to Japan from ancient India by way of China in the Nara era (710-784), though there are various theories on its origin.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u304a\u5730\u8535\u69d8\u306f\u69d8\u3005\u306a\u59ff\u306b\u63cf\u304b\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u304c\u3001\u6700\u3082\u591a\u3044\u306e\u306f\u5de6\u624b\u306b\u5982\u610f\u5b9d\u73e0\uff08\u306b\u3087\u3044\u307b\u3046\u3058\u3085\uff09\u3001\u53f3\u624b\u306b\u932b\u6756\uff08\u3057\u3083\u304f\u3058\u3085\uff09\u3092\u6301\u3064\u7acb\u3061\u59ff\u3067\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nOJIZO-SAMA is portrayed in various appearances, and the most common one is its standing posture with NYOIHOJYU (a wish fulfilling gem) in the left hand and SHAKUJYU (a monk staff) in the right.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u304a\u5730\u8535\u69d8\u306f\u5b50\u4f9b\u306e\u6210\u9577\u3092\u898b\u5b88\u308a\u3001\u305d\u308c\u3086\u3048\u591a\u304f\u306e\u6614\u8a71\u3084\u7ae5\u8b21\u306b\u767b\u5834\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nOJIZO-SAMA is the guardian of children, so it often appears in old tales and children\u2019s songs.<\/p>\n<p><a \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u9053\u7956\u795e\u306e\u4fe1\u4ef0\u3068\u878d\u5408\u3057\u305f\u7d50\u679c\u3001\u65c5\u4eba\u3092\u5b88\u308a\u9053\u6848\u5185\u3092\u3057\u3066\u4e0b\u3055\u308b\u3068\u3082\u4fe1\u3058\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nOJIZO-SAMA is also believed to protect the land and travelers as a result of the fusion of the faiths of OJIZO-SAMA and DOSOJIN.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u9053\u7956\u795e\u3068\u306f\u60aa\u970a\u304b\u3089\u571f\u5730\u3084\u65c5\u4eba\u3092\u5b88\u308b\u795e\u3067\u3001\u77f3\u7891\u3084\u77f3\u50cf\u306e\u5f62\u3067\u7940\u3089\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nDOSOJIN is worshiped in the form of a stone monument or a stone statue as a god who guards the land and travelers against evil spirits.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u305d\u306e\u305f\u3081\u3001\u304a\u5bfa\u306e\u4e2d\u3060\u3051\u3067\u306a\u304f\u3001\u9053\u7aef\u3067\u591a\u304f\u306e\u304a\u5730\u8535\u69d8\u3092\u898b\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nTherefore, we can see a lot of OJIZO-SAMA not only in the temples but also on the roadsides.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u6b7b\u8005\u306e\u93ae\u9b42\u306e\u305f\u3081\u3001\u5893\u5730\u3001\u4e8b\u6545\u73fe\u5834\u3001\u5211\u5834\u306a\u3069\u306b\u3082\u5efa\u7acb\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nOJIZO-SAMA is also built in graveyards, at accident scenes, and execution grounds for the consolation of the souls of the dead.<\/p>\n<p><a \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u304a\u5730\u8535\u69d8\u306e\u7e01\u65e5\u306f\u6bce\u670824\u65e5\u306b\u958b\u304b\u308c\u307e\u3059\u304c\u3001\u304a\u76c6\u306e\u671f\u9593\u306e\u7e01\u65e5\u306f\u5730\u8535\u76c6\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u7279\u5225\u306b\u76db\u5927\u306b\u884c\u308f\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nThe temple festival of OJIZO-SAMA is held on the 24th of every month, and JIZO-BON, the festival around O-BON season, is one of the greatest occasions.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5730\u8535\u76c6\u306f\u95a2\u6771\u306f\u65e7\u66a6\u306b\u5f93\u30447\u670824\u65e5\u9803\u3001\u95a2\u897f\u3067\u306f1\u30f6\u6708\u5f8c\u306e8\u670824\u65e5\u9803\u306b\u884c\u308f\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nJIZO-BON is held in the Kanto District around July 24th, according to the lunar calendar, and it is held one month later, around August 24th, in the Kansai Area.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u3088\u308a\u591a\u304f\u306e\u4eba\u304c\u53c2\u52a0\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3001\u6700\u8fd1\u3067\u306f8\u670824\u65e5\u524d\u5f8c\u306e\u571f\u66dc\u65e5\u3001\u65e5\u66dc\u65e5\u306b\u65e5\u7a0b\u3092\u305a\u3089\u3057\u3066\u884c\u3046\u3053\u3068\u3082\u591a\u3044\u3067\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nRecently, it is often held on Saturday and Sunday near August 24th so that more people can join in the festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5168\u56fd\u3067\u69d8\u3005\u306a\u5f62\u3067\u884c\u308f\u308c\u307e\u3059\u304c\u3001\u95a2\u897f\u5730\u65b9\u3067\u306f\u7279\u306b\u76db\u3093\u3067\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nIt is celebrated in various ways throughout Japan, and it is especially popular in the Kansai Area.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5730\u8535\u76c6\u306e\u767a\u7965\u306e\u5730\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u4eac\u90fd\u3067\u306f\u5927\u4eba\u3082\u5b50\u4f9b\u3082\u4e00\u7dd2\u306b\u306a\u3063\u3066\u7a4d\u6975\u7684\u306b\u697d\u3057\u307f\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nBoth adults and children enjoy JIZO-BON actively in Kyoto which is said to be the birthplace of JIZO-BON.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u4e00\u822c\u7684\u306b\u5730\u57df\u306e\u304a\u5bfa\u3001\u5b50\u4f9b\u4f1a\u3001\u81ea\u6cbb\u4f53\u304c\u5730\u8535\u76c6\u306e\u304a\u4e16\u8a71\u3092\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nJIZO-BON is usually prepared by local temples, children\u2019s gatherings, and neighborhood self-governing bodies.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u304a\u5730\u8535\u69d8\u3092\u304d\u308c\u3044\u306b\u6d17\u3044\u6e05\u3081\u3001\u65b0\u3057\u3044\u8d64\u3044\u524d\u3060\u308c\u3092\u3064\u3051\u3001\u5468\u308a\u306b\u8d64\u3044\u63d0\u706f\u3092\u3076\u3089\u4e0b\u3052\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nThey wash and clean up OJIZO-SAMA, put a red bib on it, and red paper lanterns are hung around it.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u304a\u574a\u3055\u3093\u304c\u304a\u53c2\u308a\u306b\u6765\u305f\u5b50\u4f9b\u9054\u306b\u304a\u7d4c\u3092\u3042\u3052\u3066\u4e0b\u3055\u308a\u3001\u305d\u306e\u5f8c\u304a\u83d3\u5b50\u304c\u914d\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nBuddhist priests chant sutras for children who join the event, and they are given some sweets.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5b50\u4f9b\u9054\u306f\u82b1\u706b\u3001\u30b2\u30fc\u30e0\u3001\u798f\u5f15\u306a\u3069\u3092\u697d\u3057\u3080\u3053\u3068\u3082\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br
