\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u96db\u796d\u308a\u306f3\u67083\u65e5\u306b\u884c\u308f\u308c\u308b\u5973\u306e\u5b50\u306e\u6210\u9577\u3068\u5065\u5eb7\u3092\u795d\u3046\u4f1d\u7d71\u7684\u306a\u304a\u796d\u308a\u3067\u3001\u3053\u306e\u6642\u671f\u306b\u54b2\u304f\u6843\u306e\u82b1\u306b\u3061\u306a\u307f\u300c\u6843\u306e\u7bc0\u53e5\u300d\u3068\u3082\u547c\u3070\u308c\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nHina-matsuri, the Doll Festival, is a traditional festival to celebrate a girls\u2019 growth and good health on March 3rd, and this festival is also known as \u201cMomo-no-sekku (the Peach Festival)\u201d because peach flowers are blooming around this time.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u660e\u6cbb\u6642\u4ee3\uff081868-1912\uff09\u306e\u521d\u3081\u307e\u3067\u3001\u65e7\u66a6\u306e3\u67083\u65e5\uff08\u65b0\u66a6\u3067\u306f4\u6708\u306e\u521d\u65ec\uff09\u306b\u96db\u796d\u308a\u306f\u884c\u308f\u308c\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3001\u305d\u306e\u540d\u6b8b\u3067\u73fe\u4ee3\u3082\u65e7\u66a6\u306e3\u67083\u65e5\u30844\u67083\u65e5\u306b\u795d\u3046\u5730\u65b9\u304c\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nUntil the beginning of the Meiji period (1868-1912), Hina-matsuri was annually held on March 3rd by Japan\u2019s old lunisolar calendar (around the beginning of April by the Gregorian calendar); therefore, in some districts, Hina-matsuri is still held on March 3rd by the old calendar or April 3rd.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u96db\u796d\u308a\u306e\u8d77\u6e90\u306f\u8af8\u8aac\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u304c\u3001\u5e73\u5b89\u6642\u4ee3\uff08794-1185\uff09\u306e\u4eac\u90fd\u3067\u8cb4\u65cf\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u795d\u308f\u308c\u305f\u3068\u3044\u3046\u8a18\u9332\u304c\u6b8b\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nThere are different theories about how Hina-matsuri started, but it is recorded that Hina-matsuri was already celebrated by the aristocracy in Kyoto in the Heian period (794-1185).<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u4eba\u3005\u306f\u4eba\u5f62\u3092\u4f5c\u308a\u3001\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u540d\u524d\u3092\u305d\u308c\u306b\u66f8\u304d\u3001\u5ddd\u306b\u6d41\u3059\u3068\u5384\u6255\u3044\u304c\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3068\u4fe1\u3058\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<br \/>\nPeople believed that they could drive away evil spirits if they made dolls, wrote their names on them and floated them down the river.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u4eba\u5f62\u3092\u5ddd\u306b\u6d41\u3059\u3001\u6d41\u3057\u96db\u306e\u98a8\u7fd2\u304c\u307e\u3060\u6b8b\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u5730\u65b9\u3082\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nNagashi-bina, the custom of floating dolls down the river, still remains in some regions.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u73fe\u4ee3\u3067\u306f\u3001\u5c0f\u3055\u306a\u5a18\u306e\u3044\u308b\u5bb6\u5ead\u306e\u591a\u304f\u306f\u3001\u96db\u4eba\u5f62\u3092\u96db\u6bb5\u306b\u98fe\u3063\u3066\u795d\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nThese days, many families with little daughters celebrate by displaying Hina-ningyo (Hina dolls) on Hina-dan (a special doll stand).<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u96db\u6bb5\u306f5\u6bb5\u3001\u307e\u305f\u306f7\u6bb5\u3067\u3001\u9bae\u3084\u304b\u306a\u8d64\u3044\u5e03\u3067\u8986\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nHina-dan is built with 5 or 7 shelves and covered with a felt scarlet cloth.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u4eba\u5f62\u306f\u5e73\u5b89\u6642\u4ee3\u306e\u7f8e\u3057\u3044\u5bae\u5ef7\u8863\u88c5\u3092\u7740\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nDolls are dressed in beautiful court costumes of the Heian period.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5185\u88cf\u96db\u306f\u6700\u4e0a\u6bb5\u306e\u91d1\u5c4f\u98a8\u306e\u524d\u306b\u98fe\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nA pair of Dairi-bina, the shelf.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u95a2\u6771\uff08\u6771\u4eac\u3092\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3068\u3059\u308b1\u90fd6\u770c\uff09\u3067\u306f\u5411\u304b\u3063\u3066\u5de6\u5074\u306b\u7537\u96db\u3001\u53f3\u5074\u306b\u5973\u96db\u3092\u98fe\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nIn the Kanto area (the region including Tokyo and encompasses six prefectures), people display Otoko-bina (the Emperor), on the left, and Onna-bina (the Empress), on the right from the \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u4eac\u90fd\u3067\u306f\u5fa1\u6240\u306e\u7389\u5ea7\u306e\u4f4d\u7f6e\u306b\u57fa\u3065\u304d\u3001\u4f1d\u7d71\u7684\u306b\u95a2\u6771\u98a8\u306e\u9006\u3001\u5411\u304b\u3063\u3066\u53f3\u5074\u306b\u7537\u96db\u3001\u5de6\u5074\u306b\u5973\u96db\u3092\u98fe\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nIn Kyoto, people traditionally display them in reverse order of the Kanto style; Otoko-bina on the right, and Onna-bina on the left from the viewer\u2019s perspective in accordance with the order of the sitting places for the Emperor and Empress in the Imperial Court.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c62\u6bb5\u76ee\u306b\u4e09\u4eba\u5b98\u5973\u30013\u6bb5\u76ee\u306b\u4e94\u4eba\u56c3\u5b50\u30014\u6bb5\u76ee\u306b2\u4eba\u306e\u968f\u8eab\u30015\u6bb5\u76ee\u306b3\u4eba\u306e\u4ed5\u4e01\u3001\u307e\u305f\u306f\u885b\u58eb\u3092\u98fe\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nThree ladies-in-waiting are on the second shelf, 5 musicians are on the third shelf, 2 retainers are on the fourth shelf, and 3 court officers or guards are on the fifth shelf.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u4e0b\u6bb5\u306b\u306f\u30df\u30cb\u30c1\u30e5\u30a2\u306e\u5bb6\u8ca1\u9053\u5177\u3084\u725b\u8eca\u3092\u98fe\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nMiniature household goods and \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u6700\u8fd1\u306f\u9650\u3089\u308c\u305f\u30b9\u30da\u30fc\u30b9\u3057\u304b\u306a\u3044\u591a\u304f\u306e\u5bb6\u306b\u5408\u308f\u305b\u3066\u3001\u96db\u4eba\u5f62\u306f\u3088\u308a\u5c0f\u3055\u304f\u3001\u7c21\u7d20\u5316\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nThese days, Hina-ningyo have become smaller and simpler because of the limited space in many homes.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5185\u88cf\u96db\u3060\u3051\u306e\u96db\u4eba\u5f62\u3092\u6301\u3064\u4eba\u304c\u5897\u3048\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nMore and more people have a set of Hina-ningyo consisting of only Dairi-bina, the Emperor and Empress.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u96db\u796d\u308a\u304c\u7d42\u308f\u3063\u305f\u3089\u3059\u3050\u306b\u96db\u4eba\u5f62\u3092\u7247\u4ed8\u3051\u306a\u3044\u3068\u3001\u5a5a\u671f\u304c\u9045\u308c\u308b\u3068\u3044\u3046\u8a00\u3044\u4f1d\u3048\u304c\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nThere is a legend that if people don\u2019t put Hina-ningyo away soon after Hina-matsuri is over, a girl will lose her chance to get married when she grows up.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5730\u65b9\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u306f\u300c\u3055\u3052\u3082\u3093\u300d\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u308b\u3001\u7e01\u8d77\u306e\u826f\u3044\u4eba\u5f62\u3092\u540a\u3057\u305f\u96db\u98fe\u308a\u3092\u96db\u58c7\u306e\u8fd1\u304f\u306b\u98fe\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nIn some regions, \u201cSage-mon\u201d, Hina-matsuri hanging decorations consisting of auspicious handmade dolls, are displayed near Hina-dan.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u5973\u306e\u5b50\u304c\u751f\u307e\u308c\u308b\u3068\u521d\u7bc0\u53e5\u307e\u3067\u306b\u7956\u6bcd\u3001\u6bcd\u89aa\u3001\u89aa\u621a\u306e\u304a\u3070\u3055\u3093\u304c\u3001\u8d64\u3061\u3083\u3093\u306e\u5065\u3084\u304b\u306a\u6210\u9577\u3068\u5e78\u798f\u3092\u9858\u3046\u6c17\u6301\u3061\u3092\u4e00\u91dd\u3001\u4e00\u91dd\u306b\u8fbc\u3081\u3066\u7e2b\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nNewborn girls\u2019 grandmothers, mothers and aunties sew dolls for \u201cSage-mon\u201d stitch by stitch, praying for the girls\u2019 healthy growth and happiness until their first \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u767d\u9152\u3092\u98f2\u307f\u3001\u83f1\u9905\u3084\u96db\u3042\u3089\u308c\u3092\u98df\u3079\u3066\u697d\u3057\u304f\u904e\u3054\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nPeople enjoy drinking shiro-zake (white sake containing rice malt), eating hishi-mochi (diamond-shaped rice cakes) and hina-arare (sweetened puffed rice or small round rice crackers).<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u83f1\u9905\u306f\u4e0a\u304b\u3089\u9806\u756a\u306b\u6843\u8272\u3001\u767d\u8272\u3001\u7dd1\u8272\u306e3\u8272\u306e\u3082\u306e\u304c\u4e00\u822c\u7684\u3067\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nHishi-mochi commonly consists of three layers: pink, white and green, from top to bottom.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u4e00\u8aac\u306b\u306f\u30d4\u30f3\u30af\u306f\u6843\u306e\u82b1\u3001\u767d\u306f\u96ea\u3001\u7dd1\u306f\u8349\u306b\u898b\u7acb\u3066\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nIt is said that pink represents a peach flower, white represents snow, and green represents grass.<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u96db\u3042\u3089\u308c\u306e\u57fa\u672c\u306e\u8272\u306f\u83f1\u9905\u540c\u69d8\u3001\u6843\u8272\u3001\u767d\u8272\u3001\u7dd1\u8272\u306e3\u8272\u3067\u3059\u304c\u3001\u73fe\u4ee3\u98a8\u306e\u96db\u3042\u3089\u308c\u306b\u306f\u7802\u7cd6\u3084\u30c1\u30e7\u30b3\u30ec\u30fc\u30c8\u3092\u30b3\u30fc\u30c6\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0\u3057\u305f\u3082\u306e\u3082\u3042\u308a\u307e\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nThe basic three colors of hina-arare are pink, white and green like hishi-mochi, and modern hina-arare can be sugar-coated or chocolate-coated.<\/p>\n<p><a \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u96db\u796d\u308a\u306e\u98df\u4e8b\u306e\u5178\u578b\u7684\u306a\u3082\u306e\u306f\u6563\u3089\u3057\u5bff\u53f8\u3068\u86e4\u306e\u304a\u5438\u3044\u7269\u3067\u3059\u3002<br \/>\nA typical Hina-matsuri feast is chirashi-zushi (sushi rice mixed and topped with vegetables and seafood) and hamaguri-no-osumashi (clear clam soup).<\/p>\n<p>\u25c6\u304b\u3064\u3066\u86e4\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u4e8c\u679a\u8c9d\u306f\u5973\u6027\u306e\u8c9e\u64cd\u306e\u8c61\u5fb4\u3068\u8003\u3048\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<br
