\nMidori-no-hi used to fall on April 29th which used to be celebrated as a national holiday in honor of the Emperor Showa\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n

\u25c61989\u5e74\uff08\u662d\u548c64\u5e74\uff09\u306e\u662d\u548c\u5929\u7687\u306e\u3054\u901d\u53bb\u5f8c\u3001\u5929\u7687\u8a95\u751f\u65e5\u306f\u4eca\u4e0a\u5929\u7687\u306e\u8a95\u751f\u65e5\u3067\u3042\u308b12\u670823\u65e5\u306b\u306a\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002
\nIn 1989 (Showa 64th yr), the Emperor Showa passed away and the current Emperor\u2019s birthday is celebrated instead on December 23rd.<\/p>\n

\u25c64\u670829\u65e5\u306f\u9577\u3044\u9593\u30b4\u30fc\u30eb\u30c7\u30f3\u30a6\u30a3\u30fc\u30af\u306e\u6700\u521d\u306e\u795d\u65e5\u3068\u3057\u3066\u89aa\u3057\u307e\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002
\nApril 29th was familiar to people for a long time as the first national holiday of Golden Week.<\/p>\n

\nKokumin-no-kyujitsu was originally a national holiday which was established to expand Golden Week.<\/p>\n

\u25c6\u5e74\u306b\u3088\u3063\u30665\u67084\u65e5\u304c\u4f11\u65e5\u306b\u306a\u3063\u305f\u308a\u3001\u306a\u3089\u306a\u304b\u3063\u305f\u308a\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u304c\u3001\u73fe\u5728\u3067\u306f\u3044\u3064\u3082\u56fd\u6c11\u306e\u795d\u65e5\u3067\u3059\u3002
